Seminyak
Seminyak is always a good choice! This trendy and happening tourist beach town has never lost its fashion or coolness and it will continue to be Bali’s top destination! Land and property do come at the highest price but returns of investment are also very good.
Canggu
Canggu is the most desirable destination on the island this very moment. Everyone wants to get into Canggu. However, when looking into buying real estate in Canggu, make sure you choose the location wise as Canggu is quite a stretched out area and if your property is too far away from the beach and places where it all happens (Berawa/Batu Bolong), it can be hard to rent out your property. Make sure the property is within walking distance of cafes and restaurants as getting around in Canggu can be a bit difficult for those who won’t drive a motorbike.
Pererenan
Pererenan is located right next to Canggu and it is definitely upcoming. More and more cafes and restaurants are opening up and the beach as well as the sunsets are absolutely stunning! Pererenan is still quiet and beautiful but it’s lively enough and close to the action in Canggu. Buying property here could be very profitable.
Umalas
Umalas is like a hidden area where everything is unspoiled and peaceful. You would never think this tranquil area is located right in between the 2 hottest tourist destinations in Bali: Seminyak and Canggu. From Umalas, it takes just minutes to get to Petitenget in Seminyak or Berawa in Canggu on a motorbike. There are plenty of cool places for food and drinks and yet the ambience always remains calm and relaxed: perfect for a luxury villa!
Sanur
Sanur is the old-time favourite of families and retirees and also expats with kids. There is something very charming about Sanur. This beach town in the south has everything you need for a perfect holiday: beach clubs, bars, restaurants, shops, spas, etc and yet, the ‘village feel’ is still there. You will see many people on bicycles passing by and you can also get around on foot, making it really attractive for holidayers! Sanur is also the main gateway to get to nearby islands such as Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida. Furthermore, there aren’t too many villas around in this area – it will most likely be very easy to rent your property out to both tourists and expats!
Amed
Located at the foot of the almighty Mount Agung (Bali’s tallest and holiest volcano), Amed is a sleepy, tranquil fishing village where you can catch the sunrise and the sunset. This place is just beautiful with kind and welcoming locals, a wondrous marine world and it is a great place to come and unwind for a while, catching a glimpse of ‘the real Bali’. Amed is located in the east of the island and the prices of land and property are cheap!
Balangan
Balangan is a fantastic surf beach located in the south of Bali in Uluwatu. Now, Uluwatu is the place where every beach lover wants to be – you will stumble upon one paradise beach after another and Balangan is one of them. Through the beach is busy with experienced surfers, families and weddings couples trying to get that perfect ‘shot’ – the area around Balangan is very local and peaceful. Land is still very affordable and if your property is not too far away from the beach, you are in for some business!
Jimbaran
Jimbaran is a fabulous destination for families and expats looking for a tranquil place with plenty of restaurants and cafes and beach clubs. The beach in Jimbaran is perfect for kids as the sand is soft and white and there are almost no waves. Jimbaran is also home to the famous ‘seafood bay’, attracting tourists from all over the island. The location towards the airport is superb and you can also make it a great base from where you can explore Uluwatu, Nusa Dua, Seminyak and Sanur.
